Прилетела ссылка на любопытную статью в «The Guardian». Про исследования природы в зоне вокруг Чернобыльской АЭС.

Вывод: «Humans are more damaging to wildlife and ecosystems than is radiation poisoning».

“This doesn’t mean radiation is good for wildlife, just that the effects of human habitation, including hunting, farming, and forestry, are a lot worse,” said Professor Smith.

Как-то так. Если уж использовать природу, то всё-таки встраиваться в экосистему. А не тупо потреблять.
